| *Introduction to Technical Rescue Course (FRC 1200) is required PRIOR to taking TR Ropes (Chapter 5) or TR Common Vehicle Rescue (Chapter 8). | |||||||||
| *Certified Firefighters or Technical Rescuers certified prior to the 2021 edition will not need the Intro to Technical Rescue Course. | |||||||||
The TR Certification has 2 pathways, each with 2 options. The pathways are Vehicle or Ropes.
You can take Option 1 in either Pathway which is 1 longer class or Option 2 where it is broken up into 3 levels, Awareness, Technician, and Operations. As you can see once you have the prerequisites done, it is only 42 hours to a certification.
